I voted for The Dark Knight Joker.

This was kind of hard for me. I thought The Dark Knight Joker was overrated, but at the same time, I figure he would still beat Original Batman's Joker.

This was a bit of toughie for me as well. I appreciate what Nicholson brought to the table with his more campy, humor-oriented Joker in Burton's Batman, and that gave me memories of the old '60s Batman TV show, which I happen to enjoy quite a bit. Burton is also a director I enjoy as well, so I'm glad of the direction he helped Nicholson create for their Joker persona.

However, I do appreciate Ledger for bringing to life an interpretation of the character rarely seen outside of the comic books: a serious, malicious madman who enjoys cruel acts for no rhyme or reason other than they 'amuse' him. It was quite a spectical to watch and I'd have to give him an edge on the diabolical scheme corner simply due to the fact that having no real goal makes him all that more frightening.

Excellent reason. Both played a part, but Ledger's part is unarguably the better half.

thats right ledger had the awsome luck to end his career on a realy good movie and a great performance

an actor taken from us too soon let us have a moment of silence to remember him while we piss on jack nicklesons joker which lost the contest horribly
